Caerphilly V Swansea Team News

Bottom Club Caerphilly will face the All Whites tomorrow at Virginia Park, knowing a win is crucial if they are to eventually haul themselves from the foot of the Welsh/Scottish League.
The last time these sides met, at St. Helens in December, Swansea overcame the Castletown men 36-21. That match could have been Oh-so different had Geraint Lewis managed to touchdown when he had crossed the Swansea try line when the score at 13-6 to Caerphilly. Unfortunately for him and Caerphilly he spilled the ball and with it went the match…
Last years champions have found that defending a title is harder than winning it, a victory on Saturday would make the Swansea record 7wins and 7 losses, a far cry from this time last year, when they finished the season with a 14 and 4 record.
Swansea welcome back second row Andy Moore and hooker Garin Lewis. The ‘out of international favour’ Swansea quartet of Colin Charvis, Andy Moore Darren Morris and Geraint Lewis all have a chance to impress new Wales boss Steve Hansen. Swansea manger Richard Moriarty commented “Having not featured in last weekend international, all four players are keen to show their credentials to the new Welsh management team.”
