Neath V Bridgend Team News

Neath meet Bridgend tomorrow in the Welsh/Scottish League, televised Live on S4C at 5:30pm
With Cardiff not involved in league action this weekend, a win for the Welsh All Blacks would see them move into third spot, and help them in their push for a place in next season’s Heineken Cup.
“It was a tough physical match when we won at the Brewery Field in October, and it will be no easier at the Gnoll on Saturday evening.” said Neath coach, Lyn Jones.
“Bridgend have a lot of talented players and are capable of scoring tries from 100 yards out. We have a history of close matches against Bridgend over recent seasons and I am sure it will be another terrific battle.”
Saturdays game will be the first for new management team of Richard Webster and Huw Bevan following the surprise resignation of coach Dennis John.
“Going to Neath is a tough way to start.” added Webster, “The players know how big a game it is, the records show we’ve only won there twice in the last twenty years.”
