Assistant Coach, Rowland Phillips said “Pontypridd have become a difficult side to beat. After under performing in the early part of the season, they are now a well organised and committed outfit. Since the return of Lyn Howells they have developed a strong defence, and we will have to take all opportunities to get points on the board. You have to have respect for any side with players like Mefin Davies, who is playing better than ever. I have a lot of time for their well balanced Centres, with Sonny Parker having exceptional pace, and Jonathan Bryant being a strong ball carrier. We are expecting a tough and extremely close match”
