Stimpson In Line To Face Wales A
Tim Stimpson is back in the England fold after his call-up to the England A Squad to face Wales A at Ashton Gate, Bristol on Friday, 22 March.
The 1997 British Lion last played for the full England team against Canada last summer.
He comes into the squad in place of Iain Balshaw, who has been recalled to the full squad, and he is joined by fellow Tigers Ollie Smith, Steve Booth and Andy Goode.
England A coach Ged Glynn has also brought in Leeds Tykes wing Dan Scarborough for the first time.
The two teams drew in Wrexham last season, while Wales A have won two of their three games to date, against France and Italy, after losing against the Irish in Cork.
England A have yet to win in the 2002 Six Nations A Championship after drawing with the Scots and losing to Ireland and France.
