Irb World Sevens Series: Singapore/malaysia

The IRB World Sevens Series moves on in rounds 8 and 9 to Singapore(20th/21st April) and Malaysia (27th/28th April) before the tournament arrives in Great Britain, for the Emirates Airline London and Cardiff 7s in May and June.

There are five new additions to the Wales squad, captained by Gareth Williams, who flew in to Singapore today.
Rhys Jones, the Newport No 8 has represented Wales at U18, U19 and U21. Dan Gravell, the Llanelli hooker featured in the Welsh Crawshays Thailand 7s.
Joining Rhys and Dan are Neil McKim,Anthony Rees and Dafydd Lewis. Neil who plays on the wing for Ebbw Vale, has made appearances for Wales Schools and Wales Youth U18 and U19. He was a member of the FIRA squad and played in the recent U21 internationals. Anthony, who also plays on the wing, comes for Dunvant RFC. Dafydd (London Wasps)has played at outside half for Wales U18, U19 and U21.
