There are several local battles – none more so than at Tylorstown, where Ferndale are the visitors.
Many of the players involved have been with both clubs, but selection has been difficult due to huge injury problems on both sides.
Bridgend Athletic took a shock first defeat of the season at ome last week, but they will start favourites to beat Pyle, while Athletic’s conquerors Dinas Pows go to meet one of the great cup-fighting clubs at Fleur de Lys.
Trefil are the only remaining Welsh Districts club in the Cup and they have a home tie against BP Llandarcy, while North Wales is represented by Wrexham (away to Hendy) , Bala (at home to Croesyceiliog) and unbeaten Nant Conwy, who visit Pentyrch.
One of the most intriguing ties will be at Llanudno, who entertain Fairwater.
Other top clashes re Penygraig-Rhydyfelin and Bryncoch-Pencoed, while Birchgrove-Maesteg Quins is among the leading ties in the West.
The winners progress to Round three where the clubs from Division 2 join the competition.
