Swansea Go Into Temporary Administration

In response, WRU Group Chief Executive David Moffett said:

‘It is unfortunate that Swansea‘s financial position is such that it has been forced to take this course of action.

‘The Union has been aware of the club’s plight for some time and through its lawyers has been in correspondence with the club’s accountants RSM Robson Rhodes.

‘What the situation underlines is the urgent need for all of Welsh Rugby’s Premiership clubs to move ahead with the re-structuring of the professional game.’
