The Blue and Blacks will be without a six key players who are in training camp with the national squad.

In addition John Yapp has been called up by Wales under-21, joining club representatives Nick Robinson, James Malpas, James Goode, Robin Sowden-Taylor and Chris Stamatakis.

Head coach David Young said: “We are desperate to fulfil this fixture next week because we have a backlog of postponed matches building up – and this latest postponement doesn’t help in any way.

“Unfortunately a combination of national and under-21 squad commitments alongside an ever-growing injury list has left us with no other option.”

The latest addition to the club squad’s injury list is prop Kenneth Fourie who aggravated a hamstring injury against Neath on Wednesday.

No date has been set for the re-arranged match against Caerphilly.
