Ireland coach Eddie O’Sullivan has called winger Justin Bishop into his team for Saturday’s RBS Six Nations clash with Wales in Cardiff.

It will be his first appearance since being in the side that beat Argentina 16-7 in Dublin in the autumn internationals.

With eight tries in 22 Tests, Bishop is a proven points-scorer at the highest level.

Bishop has been preferred to Munster wing John Kelly, who will start the match on the bench.

In all O’Sullivan has made three changes from the 15-12 win over France, with Bishop replacing Kelly, Leo Cullen coming into the second row in place of the injured Gary Longwell and Alan Quinlan into the back-row for injured Victor Costello.
