KO 7pm at Millau
The Welsh student side travel to the south of France for a challenging match against a strong French side. However they depart in confidence despite losing narrowly to the England Students side last month at Swansea by 23-17.
The Welsh side nearly clinched victory at the end of that match after a brave fight back after England had taken an early fifteen point lead.
Despite losing Llanelli flanker Gareth Williams and wing Nicky Jones(Narberth) to the Wales Sevens squad, coach John Morgan has assembled a strong side to take on the French.
Whilst the backs, who were very impressive against England, remain much the same there are enforced changes in the pack. Aberystwyth No 8 Lewis Wood comes in for his first Welsh cap and is joined by Bonymaen lock Stuart Miller and Cross Keys prop Dan Evans. Also starting is hooker Simon Jenkins of Llandovery and UW Lampeter.
