Full-back Brett Davey returns after injury, so Matthew Nuthall reverts to the left-wing position.

Top try scorer Gareth Wyatt, who was injured against Swansea, is subject to a late fitness test with Richard Johnston on stand-by. Ceri Sweeney and Gareth Baber are selected at half-backs while Neil Jenkins and Dale Burn are on the replacement bench.

Matthew Rees comes in at hooker while Wales Under-21 star flanker Mark Lewis is picked in the back-row with Wayne O’Connor and No 8 Richard Parks.

Gareth Thomas captains a virtually full-strength Bridgend side, with Gareth Cull at full-back in place of Matt James.

Second-row forward Adam Moore is still out with a thumb injury and scrum-half Fililo Martens is not available, so Craig Warlow comes in alongside former club captain Huw Harries.
