Bridgend travel to the Gnoll to take on Neath in the Welsh Premiership tonight, having never won a league match at that ground, and defending a 100 percent Welsh Premiership record this season.

Neath make three changes for their crunch top-of-the-table clash.

Patrick Horgan, Brett Sinkinson and Andrew Millward replace Ricky Richards, Kevin James and Paul James respectively.

Bridgend are suffering from a lengthy injury list so acute that the club’s director of rugby Allan Lewis is not even prepared to name a squad until the day of the game.

The team itself will not be finalised until the last possible moment – 20 minutes before the scheduled kick-off time.

It will be Bridgend’s third match in eight days and they picked up injuries at both Pontypridd and Llanelli to add to those already suffered.

Richard Mustoe is still out with a thumb injury and Matt James with cartilage problems, while Aisea Havili is suspended.

Gareth Thomas (centre) and Gareth Williams (hooker) will play their last games of the season for Bridgend at the request of the Welsh Rugby Union, who want them to be fit for the forthcoming tour to Australia and New Zealand.
