Division 1 – yet to be decided.

Pontypool and Aberavon have 90 and 87 points respectively and could both still take the title.

Division 2 – Winners – CARMARTHEN ATHLETIC.

Captain – Geraint Jones. Coach – Andrew Harley.

Victory away to Corus (PT) took Carmarthen to the title and the main interest is on a top five finish with Llangennech, UWIC, Maesteg and Brynmawr being the favourites.

Division 3 (East) – Winners – PENYGRAIG.

Captain – Anthony Lloyd. Coach – Steve Cook and Lee Dando.

The Griag’s 1-10 win over Ystrad Rhondda last Thursday and Ystrad’s 13-3 loss at Fleur de Lys on Saturday gives Penygraig the title withmatches against Ynysybwl (home) and Pencoed (away) still to play.

Division 3 (West) – Winners – FELINFOEL

Captain – Steve Wells. Coach – Lee Hughes and Lee Williams.

A 16-15 win at Tonmawr nded the season for title winners Felinfoel and Cwmllynfell have ensured runners-up spot after beating Aberystwyth 37-7.

Division 4 (East) – Winners could be Brecon or Rhyddyfelin, as the latter have come with a late run and if they defeat must beat Cwmbran at home on Thursday, the title will go to them.

Division 4 (West) – Winners – PONTYBEREM.

Captain – Richard Hardy. Coach – Robert Davies.

Pontyberem needed a point from a home match against Kidwelly to pip Bryncoch for the title and duly scored six tries in a 39-0 vicvtory.

Division 5 (East) – Winners – NEWPORT SARACENS.

Captain – Leighton Steer. Coach – Paul Evans and Phil Booth.

Not only did the Sarries win their last three matches in six days, but after gaining the title over Tredegar Ironsides and then beating bottom club St Peter’s, but they also relegated Brynithel to third after a 16-7 win and New Tredegar moved to second by getting through 32-16 at Barry.

Division 5 (West) – Winners – LLANDEILO.

Captain – Irwyn Glasby. Coach – Simon Davies.

An amazing finish saw four clubs as possible title winners – they all won, but Llandeilo’s 34-6 beating of

Llandybie gives them the crown as Gowerton, Trebanos, Lampeter and Gowerton ended three points adrift with Hendy a further three back in fifth spot.

Division 5 (Central) – Winners – NANTYMOEL.

Captain – Lee Humphries. Coach – Colin Hillman.

Nantymoel had taken the title in midweek at Cowbridge, but fell 14-8 away to second-placed Banwen in their last outing of the season.

Division 5 (North) – Winners – NANT CONWY

Captain – Peredur Ellis. Coach – Mark Jones

Nant Conwy ended six points clear of Llangefni after 21 wins and one loss (to Dolgellau), and that came after taking Six (North) ast season without a single defeat.

Division 6 (East) – Winners – BARGOED.

Captain – Brett Wakefield. Coach – Steve Barber.

Fairwater have two matches remaining, but cannot catch Bargoed, whose midweek win over Rhiwbina has given them the title.

Division 6 (West) – Winners – CWMGORS.

Captain – Paul Caines. Coach – Geraint Evans.

Over 100 tries and 20 wins in 21 matches have seen Cwmgors home. They defeated Penygroes 66-12 on Saturday and have still to play against second-placed Llanelli Wanderers.

Division 6 (Central) – Winners – ABERCWMBOI

Captain – Ceri Pritchard. Coaches – Richard Holding and Mervyn Davies.

Abercwmboi had taken the title, but finished in style with a 42-7 win at Abercrave last Saturday. They have won 21 and lost one match.

Division 6 (North) – Winners – BALA

Captain – Dewi Williams. Coach – Brian Davies.

Only one loss in 18 matches gave Bala the title several weeks ago and they were the first club to be crowned.

Division 7 (East) – The title is still to be decided between Llandaff North and Bettws, as Blaenavon, who won against St Alban’s last Saturday, still have to meet both clubs in away matches.

Division 7 (West) – Winners – CEFNEITHIN.

Captain – Wayne Rogers. Coach – Craig Bonnell.

Cefneithin finished their season with a win at Crymych last Saturday – their 17th success in 20 matches.

Division 7 (Central) – Winners – CWMGWRACH.

Captain – Steve Lambert. Coach – Lee Tregonning.

An anti-climax for the title winners as they fell 22-27 at home to BP Llandarcy in their last match. Now Gwernyfed at home to BP on May 17 will be the final league match for this division.
