Fans were feeling happier about the Wales performance against Italy. With three out of four people rating Wales’ performance at 6 or higher.

This is in stark contrast to last weekend, when fans were scathing in their judgment of the performance.

Italy played good possession rugby, but were unable to break down a dogged Wales defence, comments send it to the website reveal that this part of the performance was hugely pleasing.

“Wales did what the had to,” comments Mark Taylor (no relation) from Swansea. “It wasn’t really pretty, but the boys held on in defence. To not concede a try under the pressure they were under was top class,” said Gareth May, Ton-y-Refail.

The best match report sent in to the site was from John Tran…

NOW FOR THE ALL BLACKS

Wales has won three out of four matches and have now braced themselves for an All Black onslaught with a gripping 27-15 win over Italy.

The victory reversed the 22-30 upset in the 6 Nations early this year and sets up a possible, yet mouth watering battle with another gladiator in the 6 Nations – England.

Winger Mark Jones, Centre Sonny Parker and Back Rower Dafydd Jones all had a part in the 3 tries that gave the Welsh a much deserved win in Canberra.

The Italians had nothing to show for their efforts and did not score a try. Despite leading 3-0 early, they were never in the hunt as the Dragons incinerated the Italians with brilliant defending and passing.

With Italy, Canada and Tonga out of the way, Wales can now rest easy, knowing that 2nd spot is all wrapped up.

Let’s hope that the Welsh can give its fans something to cheer about.

WALES defeated ITALY 27-15

Support from out Italian friends was forthcoming…

Congratulations welsh friends! You deserved the win and played a very good match

Unfortunately Italy is still a young team (but we are growing up!), which is not protected by referees and by the IRB (Italy’s match schedule was a shame).

Bye bye! Croeso i cymru!

Thankyou Robert Evans for this message:

We did it again!, three tries, None conceded, every time we had the ball we looked dangerous, We now need to play new Zealand just like the Italians, same game plan, tighten up defence, concede no tries and play the ball, well done Stephen Jones, the player that stood out for me was sonny parker, also Dafydd Jones, Robin Mcbryde was solid and Everyone else put in effort, well done lads, keep the momentum going, a rolling stone gathers no moss, it doesn’t matter how we win, we will win and always will.

some books for the team to read;

the miracle of motivation by george shinn,
the magic of thinking big by david j schwartz,
seven habits of highly effective people by stephen r covey,

here we go, the best is yet to come, we all want to see gareth thomas doing the ayotollah celebrations a couple of times in the new zealand and england game, flat out from now on, all the way, no pressure, no retreat no surrender and no more tries conceded, wev’e done it, dai iawn.
