Dunvant went marching on into the draw for the third round of the WRU Cup after playing against bercwmboi for the first time in senior rugby.
It was 39-12 at the interval and though the visitors pluckily ran in three tries by Paul Jones (2) and David May, with two conversions by James Webster, it was always going to be a win for the home side, who ran in ten tries.
Rhys Williams was in fine kicking form and after he had opened the scoring with a penalty goal, he went on to land seven conversions for a tally of 17 points.
After a penalty try, veteran flanker Paul Morris, wing Gary Rombach, splendid young scrum half Ieuan Evans and Leigh Cobner all crossed the visiting line.
In the second half there were further tries for Dunvant from front row forwards Joe Hughes and Jamie Davies, before Rombach again, fly half Wyn Banfield and finally Lee Ratti finished the scoring.
