Here are some of your ‘Team Talks’
The main event is yet to come and that is against England. The steps on the ladder are now easier to step up too. The Welsh team have made good head way and are breathing the fire of the Dragon. Take each stage at a time with good ball retention and quick hands and control at the breakdown. The style of play from the backs is a joy to watch. The rest of the rugby world will fear the backs of Wales as their confidence grow into the eventual world champions 2007. Be patient and let the ball do the work, the talent will help take care of the rest of the phase playing flare you welsh boys have shown. (Keep playing well and good luck, God bless WALES.

People say that winning today is a matter of life or death, well boys, its far more important than that

All you need to do is keep the passion and pace in the game as you have in the previous games. Your back play is superb and you can easily outcast any team. However, to do this you must keep the ball in hand which also I know you are than capable of doing as we have seen in previous games. Keep the pace up for the full 80 minutes as that is what you have mainly struggled on and Ireland have a much better defence and attack play than Scotland and although neither match yours if you don’t keep the pace up they will tear you to pieces so use the bench to keep it rolling. Good Luck.

We can beat the Irish if we believe. I know Wales believe in you. Now it’s time to take that belief on to the park and bury the Irish. They are a side in decline, and low on confidence, now is the time grasp the nettle and secure the win.
