Following a 7-5 win at Parabagio in February, Wales took a 17-0 lead but Italy came back in the closing stages to gain two tries and a conversion.
Full back Kevin James (Coed y Lan CS), who had scored in Italy, opened the Wales account and further tries came from replacement centre James Lewis (Hereford Cathedral School) and wing Kaine Hendrickson (Glantaf) with one converted by another replacement – fly half Celyn Ashton (Treorchy CS).
