Robinson has had a fine season, becoming a key member of the Blues’ squad. He played 25 times and scored 14 tries for the Blues last year.
However he has missed out Wales’ summer tour due to a back injury .
Prop John Yapp was the Blues’ most promising player, with fly-half and Wales Under-21 team-mate Nick Macleod Cardiff RFC’s player of the year.
Yapp and Macleod are currently playing for Wales in the Under-21 World Cup in Scotland.
