The Welsh All-Blacks not only have games in hand, but also have scored 36 tries against the 34 of Newport and 22 of Llanelli. Neath hope to continue their run with a home win over Bridgend and the visitors have not won at the Gnoll since 1982.

Newport take on Llanharan at Rodney Parade and Llanelli are at home to Cross Keys, but the latter have won their last three matches, including two away games.

Aberavon v Carmarthen Quins is postponed due to the death of a member of the Aberavon squad, while there will be Gwent derby games between Ebbw Vale v Newbridge and Pontypool v Bedwas. Ebbw Vale will be boosted by the appearance of the former Newbridge fly half Jason Williams.

There will be reunions in the other two matches as Caerphilly coach Mark Ring lies in wait for his old club Cardiff at Virginia Park and former Llandovery fly half Luke Richards could be the key man for Swansea against the Drovers at St Helen’s.
