Ireland flanker Easterby has missed the last two weeks for the Scarlets but returns for the mouth-watering clash at Stradey Park against last season’s finalists.
‘We’ve been carrying a few injuries and our form has not been the best but the Heineken Cup is totally different and we have a proud tradition in this tournament,’ he said. ‘Challenges don’t get much bigger than Toulouse but hopefully this game can kick-start our season.’
Neither side are on top form following shock defeats on their last outing. Llanelli slumped to eighth in the Celtic League after losing to Connacht while Toulouse were kicked down by former Scarlet-favourite Stephen Jones for Clermont-Ferrand.
However, the Scarlets have a virtually full-strength side with former Wales star Arwel Thomas given the nod ahead of young rival Gareth Bowen for the outside-half spot.
British Lions Scott Quinnell and Mark Taylor both start though hooker Robin McBryde is still out injured.
