While there was not a single match played in the South-West, South Wales Police gained an important 10-0 win at Penallta in the South-East to snatch the lead on try-count, though Cefn Coed scored the only try of the match as they won 7-3 at Ogmore Vale.

Machen gained an important 10-6 win over St Alban’s in the East to join the ‘Buns’ and Nantyglo on 15 points, while in the North there was a first win for Rhos – 10-7 over Wrexham – and Bro Ffestiniog upset Llanidloes by 24-0.

There were five matches that survived the weather to play in the West and Pembroke retained their unbeaten record with a 29-3 victory at Bynea and New Dock Stars beat Swansea Uplands with both winners joining Aberaeron on 18 points.
