HENRY APPLAUDS TOUGH DEFENCE
The All Blacks squeezed out a one-point victory in Saturday’s thrilling match at the Millennium Stadium, coming from behind on three occasions to eventually win 26-25.
And coach Henry know the defensive efforts of his side in Cardiff showed the home team would have beaten a lesser unit.
Henry claims a highly satisfactory set of defensive statistics.
He said: “Our tackle count was 12 missed out of 162 – a success rate of 91.15 per cent, which is high.
“The individual stats at the tackle area were also very high.
“It all means that we played particularly well against Wales and generally speaking our guys had big games and we were delighted to come out on top with the way the guys played.”
