WELSH WOMEN’S RUGBY UNION PRESS RELEASE

WELSH WOMEN’S RUGBY UNION PRESS RELEASE

The side is made up of global representatives who play top-level rugby in the English women’s premiership, for clubs including Saracens, Wasps and Clifton.  Notable squad members include Gill Burns, one of the World’s most capped players and Liza Burgess, the most capped Welsh woman.

Jilly Holroyd, Wales Manager, commented “This will be a good test for the girls so early on in the season and will provide us with the preparation we need leading up to the Six Nations.”

The game will take place at the University of Glamorgan playing fields in Treforest Industrial Estate, Pontypridd with a 5pm kick-off.  All support is welcome.
