COCKBAIN SET FOR RETURN
The giant 6ft 8in second-row missed the Ospreys’ 24-7 victory over Quins last Sunday with a side strain but looks likely to make the trip to the Stoop Memorial Ground.
“I’m really positive about my chances of putting myself up for selection,” he said. “We will see how it goes over the next couple of days, but at this stage I don’t see too many problems getting in my way.”
The Ospreys kept alive their faint hopes of qualifying for the quarter-finals with their victory over Quins in Swansea. But they have yet to win away in Europe in their short history, having failed at Toulouse, Edinburgh and Leeds last term and fallen at Castres earlier this season.
However Cockbain said: “Things are changing and it’s only a matter of time before we go to places like that and win.”
