A BRYANT HOME IS A HAPPY HOME
The one-time Wales centre arrived at the Arms Park this week after spells at the Newport Gwent Dragons and Pontypridd. And that is sure to make him even more popular with his wife’s family who are all died-in-the-wool Blues fans.
“My father-in-law used to give me loads of stick about the fact that I had never won at the Arms Park. It was especially bad for the traditional Boxing Day match,” said Bryant. “Hopefully Christmas will be a bit rosier this year in our household.”
Bryant now aims to make up for lost time after falling out of favour at the Dragons under Chris Anderson. “I trained hard but there seemed to be nothing I could do,” he said. “That’s the way it goes but there was only so long I was willing to hang around.”
