Division Two
With some clubs involved in the Cup, there still will be six matches in the East and a further five in the West, with the latter including a rearranged game between leaders Waunarlwydd at home to Mumbles.
Victory would give Waunarlwydd a nine-point cushion as both Cwmllynfell and Banwen are involved in cup ties. The bottom two clubs will meet at Tondu as they entertain Newcastle Emlyn. In the East, Newport Saracens will face a stern test from Croesyceiliog as Ystrad Rhondda go to Treherbert in what should a terrific battle. Amongst the other games, the Abercynon-Merthyr tussle at Y Parc will be a close affair.
Division Three
All three unbeaten clubs will face away games, but Rhydyfelin’s trip to Penygraig in the South-East would appear to be the easiest of them. Mountain Ash are at home to Brecon and would be ahead if they win and Rhydyfelin slip up. In the West, Loughor face a trip to Aberystwyth and second-placed Gorseinon go to Trimsaran, while in the East, unbeaten Bargoed will be tested at Bailey Park, Abergavenny as Pill Harriers take the short trip to Llanrumney Park to look for a double over Old Illtydians. The closely-contested South-West will see leaders Maesteg Quins hard-pressed at Kenfig Hill, while Alltwen are home to Brynamman and Seven Sisters go to Ystalyfera.
Division Four
The most interesting of the Division Four matches will be at the Athletic Ground in Penarth as the Seasiders take on unbeaten South-East leaders Fairwater, while Aberdare are at home to Taffs Well. In the East, Pontllanfraith go to the Harlequins Ground in Cardiff to take on St Peter’s, as Crumlin go to out-of-form Oakdale and Trinant are away to Ynysddu. West leaders Amman Utd are away to bottom club Betws, while Laugharne have a home match against Fishguard and in the South-West, both Resolven and Tonna are away with the leaders at Ystradgynlais and Tonna facing a stern test at Aberavon Green Stars. Llangefni and Mold are pulling clear in the North and both would expect three-pointers as Llangefni entertain Caernarfon and Mold visit Newtown.
Division Five
The South-East is proving a struggle for supremacy and toughest of the battles should be the one between Cefn Coed and South Wales Police at the Black Patch. There should be easier games for the chasing Porth, Penallta and Cilfynydd as the division has a huge divide in it. In the South-West, Abercrave take on Neath Athletic, but Birchgrove face a hard nut to crack in Glyncorrwg and in the West, Pembroke hope to keep ahead after facing St Clears, while the New Dock Stars game against Aberaeron looks the best. Unbeaten East leaders Nantyglo face an improving Garndiffaith on Banna Park, as Abertillerg BG hope to get back to winning ways against Gwernyfed and St Alban’s take on Caldicot at Tremorfa Park. There are no scheduled fixtures in the North this week.
