In contrast to Friday’s basement struggles it’s the two title contenders who take centre stage on Saturday – with Munster looking to close the gap that the Ospreys were able to open during the Irish side’s bye week in the last round.
Munster travel to the Scarlets with the form suggesting a Munster win at Stradey – with the Scarlets looking for this first win in four games, while the Ospreys can maintain at least a five point gap if they overcome Glasgow at Hughenden on Saturday evening.
The final game of the round is on Sunday when Leinster, smarting from their embarrassing defeat against the Borders last weekend, will look to keep themselves somewhere close to the leaders when the Dragons travel to Lansdowne Road – which has been pressed into action due to problems with the pitch at Donnybrook.
