Llangennech tries went to wing Willie Davies and replacement centre Mark Bowen with centre Ian Mirks landing a
conversion and two penalties.
DIVISION 2
The West title will be decided on May 14 as Cwmllynfell entertain Waunarlwydd. Both clubs gained victories in their penultimate matches as Cwmllynfell beat Corus 31-20 and Waunarlwydd beat third-placed Banwen by 42-12. Bottom club Tondu gained a win over Pontyberem and Felinfoel just held off Kidwelly by one point.
In the East, Ystrad Rhondda regained the lead by defeating Treherbert 29-10 and now Abercynon must win at Merthyr on May 14 to take the title, but Merthyr are the form team at the moment and are still looking for promotion. Llantrisant escaped relegation after beating Risca 78-0 and LLantwit Fardre won over relegated Treorchy.
