ROUND TWO TAKES OFF

They are likely to debut Wallaby Justin Harrison against a Cardiff Blues side who will be hoping to put behind them the disappointment of last weekend’s defeat in Galway.

On Saturday Connacht will hope to build on that opening win when they travel to Edinburgh. However the Gunners will aim to produce the same form that saw them win against the Scarlets in front of their home crowd. Saturday’s other fixtures sees Leinster at home to Glasgow Warriors, with the Scots looking to reverse the worrying trend of only one win over Leinster in the Celtic League. The final Saturday game is a real mouth-watering prospect with the Ospreys visiting Munster. The champions started their defence with a last gasp win over Leinster last Sunday, but will face a Munster side who they haven’t beaten in their last three games.

Sunday’s final game of the round sees the Scarlets travel to the Borders. The Scarlets will be smarting from their home defeat to the Gunners last weekend and in a difficult week have lost the services of Salesi Finau and have Dafydd Jones on the injury list for the foreseeable future. The Borders will also be looking for their first win in nine starts after picking up a bonus point in last weekend’s narrow defeat by Munster.
