Things are tight at the top of Division 3 East, with Abergavenny (32-13 winners at Abercarn) and Senghenydd (13-12 winners over Fairwater) on top with 24 points. Fairwater and Pontypool United are tied for third on 21 after United’s 39-8 win over Risca, who are winless after 12 matches. Treherbert retain a nine-point lead in Division 3 South-East after a comfortable 47-19 win over bottom-placed Abercwmboi, although Ruthin went one point better with a 48-10 win over Tylorstown.

Garndiffaith and St Peters are level-pegging in Division 4 East after comfortable wins over Chepstow and Cardiff HSOB respectively on Saturday, with Oakdale winning the battle of the cellar dwellers with a 27-7 victory at home to Crumlin.

Penarth returned from Penygraig with a 52-0 win to lead Division 4 South-East, but Penallta (35-22 winners at Llandaff) are only three points behind with two games in hand.

Division 5 South-East leaders Porth made it nine from nine with a 66-0 mauling of South Wales Police, and their lead is now six points after second-placed Bridgend Sports were pipped 25-24 at home to Rhiwbina.

In Division 5 East, unbeaten Machen sent Llanhilleth packing with a 54-3 hiding, but Blaenavon sneaked home 15-14 at Caldicot to keep the pressure on at the top.
