The suspension runs from the date of the sending off and not the date of the hearing so Mr Jones will be free to play for the Scarlets in their Celtic League match at Connacht Rugby on Saturday 18th February, a week before Wales play Ireland at Lansdowne Road in the RBS Six Nations Championship.

Following clarification from the Celtic League it has been confirmed that following Mr Jones’s hearing before the WRU’s Disciplinary Sub-Committee at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, on Tuesday 31 January, it was incorrectly stated that Mr Jones would be eligible to resume playing on Tuesday 21st February 2006.
