Peel warns of Italian threat
Wales play host to the Azzurri this weekend at the Millennium Stadium, and welcome a side who have put in a series of eye-catching performances in this season’s RBS Six Nations.
Italy ran Ireland, England and then France close in their three previous games, and will be gunning for their first win on Welsh soil this Saturday. Peel, who himself has shone in the competition thus far, is well aware of the quality within the Italian side.
“Italy are capable of beating anyone and anywhere,” he said. “They have led every game they have played in the championship this season and against France there was only four points in the game with seventy-two minutes on the clock.
