WALES WOMEN CHASE 2ND AGAINST FRANCE
National Coaches Fielies Coetsee and Jason Lewis have banked on experience in what will be a tough fixture for Wales, making 9 changes from last week’s line-up, with 5 of them positional.
Captain Mel Berry, switches to scrum half, with Kylie Wilson moving back to Number 8 and Catrina Nicholas coming onto the blind. Jamie Kift will switch to openside to play for her 50th cap. Liza Burgess and Claire Donovan move back into the starting line-up at second row, with Rachel Brown and Dawn Mason taking places on the bench.
A new back three will be in place, with the experienced pairing of Non Evans and Louise Rickard taking the wing berths and Elen Evans slipping in at full back.
Wales will be looking to build on performances that gave them valuable wins over Scotland, Ireland and Spain. They are guaranteed at least a 3rd place finish, but will be pushing to overturn a French side that come into the game off the back of a 28-0 defeat at the hands of England.
