Wales U18 set to tackle the Irish

Wales U18 tackle Ireland in the U18 Four Home Nations Championships later today at Lydney RFC with Assistant Team Manager Ron Shottle declaring: “It’s a very important day for the team today, like a semi-final in some ways because the players want to remain unbeaten ahead of their game against England on Friday.

“A huge amount of work has gone on with the team over the last few days, both on and off the field work with the coaching staff working with individuals and on things like video analysis. We are hoping it will all pay off with a successful day.

“We need to build on last Saturday’s performance and improve in certain areas which the coaches and players are focussing on. If opportunities are there, we need to capitalise on them.”
