Over 100 Attend U17 Development Days

Guided by WRU Development Officers, Regional and Club Coaches, the girls received skills, SAQ and fitness coaching that will set them up for the forthcoming season. 

Wales U17 Coaches, Sophie Bennett and Gareth Bennett, were on hand to spot any talent in readiness for the U17 Performance Camp, with a number of players showing real potential.  WWRU National Academy members were also present at the Barn to provide advice and guidance.  

Nicola Smith, WWRU Community Manager said “Both days were a huge success and we will be looking to hold similar events in the near future.  It is great to see so many girls enjoying their rugby throughout Wales.”
