Henson rested by Ospreys
Wales centre Henson produced his best performance all year last week with 24 points, including his side’s sixth try, in the Ospreys’ cup hammering of Gloucester.
But he has been left out of the squad – along with fellow Lions Shane Williams, Ryan Jones and Brent Cockbain – after spending the week with Wales.
Justin Marshall is also rested though former Springbok Stefan Terblanche is re-called in a second-string Ospreys line-up.
Coach Lyn Jones said: “This week’s preparations have been hugely disrupted due to Wales squad training commitments. As a result we have brought in a lot of new players, but we have a strong squad and we are confident that the players we have drafted in are more than capable of performing at this level.
“Just because we enjoyed a comfortable win last week we cannot expect just to turn up and expect to win “Bath are a proud team with a strong forward pack and they have always offered a very physical approach to the game and are a confident side at the Rec which can be an intimidating pale to play.”
