Blizzard Funderworld charity opening

Groups as diverse as Niace Dysgu Cymru, Teenage Cancer Trust, Butetown Youth Pavilion, Barnardo’s, Catholic Deaf service, Cardiff and Vale Crossroads, Touch Trust, Western Spirit and Ely and Caerau Parents Council are attending, with groups travelling from Swansea, Mountain Ash, Gilfach Goch and Cardiff to be at the Millennium Stadium for the Blizzard Funderworld Grand opening.

Councillor John Dixon, Executive member of Health and social care at Cardiff County Council said: “It is a good gesture by the organisers and a treat for looked-after children.”

Edward Mellors, Director of Funderworld said: “Funderworld always undertakes a special session for charity and community groups: it is a fantastic way of launching Funderworld not only to Cardiff but to the rest of Wales.”
