Dragons kick March off against Warriors

The Dragons have made four changes to the starting line-up from the side that secured a losing bonus point in Ulster a fortnight ago.

Ashley Smith has recovered from a shoulder injury and replaces Phil Dolman, who moves to the replacements bench. Alex Walker replaces Gareth Cooper at scrum half while in the forwards prop Lee Harrison is back after recovering from his foot injury. A further change sees Colin Charvis replace Andrew Hall.

Dragons Head Coach Paul Turner commented, “Glasgow will provide a huge challenge to the squad; they are at the top of their game at the moment after seeing off the Scarlets two weeks ago. They play a fluid brand of rugby, are well organised and have some key players in key positions who are match winners.”

Warriors Head Coach Sean Lineen has made three changes to his team for the Gwent trip. Sean Marsden replaces Rory Lamont, who has an ankle injury, at fullback in the only switch among the backs from the team which defeated Llanelli Scarlets at Hughenden two weeks ago.

Canada international Kevin Tkachuk takes over from Justin Va’a at prop, while Steve Swindall returns to the starting XV in place of Jon Petrie at flanker. Scotland international Donnie Macfadyen is included on the bench along with Ben Prescott and Andrew Wilson.
