Round Up: ASDA Leagues West

The Wanderers welcome back Blues centre Dafydd Hewitt into the squad for Saturday's clash with Pontypridd at the Memorial Ground.

It was a case of lucky thirteen for the seasiders who have now racked up that number of victories in the league with an emphatic 42-7 win at Pembroke Dock Quins while North Walians Llangefni went down to a shock 26-22 loss. That also opened the door for Tumble to take second spot, 31-20 winners at Llanelli Wanderers.

There were no such twists in ASDA League Two West where the top three sides all maintained their iron grip on the table. Leaders Corus thrashed Maesteg Quins 33-3 while Tonmawr and Carmarthen Athletic beat Pontyberem and Felinfoel.

Kenfig Hill produced one of the top performances of the weekend to become the first side to lower the colours of Heol-y-Cyw in ASDA League Three South West. Heol-y-Cyw had dominated the division, building up a six-point lead following thirteen straight league wins but now second-placed Mumbles are back in with a shot thanks to Kenfig Hill.

Llanybydder, runaway leaders in ASDA League Four East, had no such problems at Neyland where they won 34-14 to remain ten points clear of Cardigan while ASDA League Four South West table toppers Briton Ferry marched on, 41-12 against Resolven.
