WWRU National Cup and Plate Finals 2007
The afternoon will kick off at 1.00pm with the Plate final when Whitland, in their inaugural year, compete against Blaenau Gwent, the oldest ladies side who celebrate their 21st birthday this season.
The plate will be quickly followed by the WWRU National Cup final which kicks off at 3.00pm. Last season’s plate winners, Cardiff Quins, have made it through to the main event this year and will play Pontyclun, the first second-division side to make it this far.
WWRU Community Rugby Manager Nicola Smith commented, “This is a fantastic opportunity for teams at all levels to showcase their talent. All four teams have a wealth of youth and experience which should make for two very exciting matches.”
