Supporters went online, hit the phones or queued at the Millennium Stadium ticket office to make sure they got seats at the Millennium Stadium on November the 24th for the clash with the new World Champions.
And the tickets will now remain on sale to the general public while stocks last in the build-up to the game.
The winning team will be presented with the Prince William Cup which will be contested by Wales and South Africa whenever they play each other outside the Rugby World Cup from now on.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster by calling 08705 582 582, via the Ticketmaster website or by calling in person at the Millennium Stadium ticket office, 98 St Mary Street, Cardiff.
The Springboks have pledged to play most of their Rugby World Cup stars in the match while Wales will seek to bounce back from the RWC disappointments.
Wales Caretaker Coach Nigel Davies said: “This is going to be a huge game of rugby and our boys will definitely have a point to prove. We will be playing the World Champions and we want the Welsh crowd to turn the volume up high to give us a boost.
“We’re leaving no stone unturned in our search to make sure we put the best possible Welsh team out to face the Springboks.”
Tickets for the game are priced at £20, £40, £45, £50 and £60 following a review of the price structure which values each seat depending on where it is in the stadium.
