Martyn Williams was the man-of-the-match as the home side kept on course for the Triple Crown after last weekend’s Twickenham heroics.

“If we hadn’t backed up last week’s result it would have been a huge anti-climax,” said Williams. “We are really proud of the way we played in the last twenty minutes.”

Wales were much the better side in both attack and defence, outscoring the Scots by three tries to nil.

“Scotland really put us through our pace early on, but we worked hard and got the result we deserved,” said skipper Ryan Jones. “It was a magnificent atmosphere the crowd were superb. We’re two from two so no one can really ask for more than that.”
