The monies raised from this year’s competition will provide funds for the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust.
The Trust is run independently of the WRU to support seriously injured players, many of whom are from the “Front Five” family. The trust currently supports 22 wheelchair users and 9 other seriously injured players.
The Tournament is open to Props, Hookers and Second Row players only. The day is meant to be a “Fun Rugby” day to raise funds for good causes, and there will be prizes, gifts, and a little beer for those involved.
Clubs wishing to enter a team can obtain application forms from Dunvant RFC Secretary, Paul Loughlin on 01792 296363, or via email dunvantrfc@btconnect.com. Applications need to be received by Thursday May 1st 2008.
Spectators are welcome and admission will be by programme on the day. Last year’s Front Five Sevens was featured on BBC Scrum V and those who saw it had a most enjoyable time.
If you wish to make a donation then cheques can be made payable to Dunvant RFC and sent to Paul Loughlin.
