The three points sanction will affect Wales’s next two Junior World Championship campaigns.
The WRU is not contesting the other sanctions imposed on it following the incidents that took place at the Liberty Stadium after the final whistle.
WRU lodge appeal against IRB sanction
The Welsh Rugby Union has lodged an appeal with the IRB against the two year points deduction it received following the Wales U20 Junior World Championship match against France on June 14th.
