Only one of those games came from the Western leagues, as Pembroke romped home to a 38-15 victory over mid-table rival Hendy in Division Four West.
The result sees Pembroke climb one place to fifth in the table, while Hendy will be looking over their shoulder at the teams below them with vital games in hand.
The Pembroke pack was dominant throughout and forwards Richard Mason and James Walters claimed two of the tries. Two tries from number 8 Rob Jones, and scores from centre Mark Williams, and wing Matthew Lewis put the game beyond Hendy.
Phil Williams was effective with the boot in difficult kicking conditions, scoring 4 of his 6 conversion attempts.
In Division One North Pwllheli ran in five tries as they thrashed strugglers Llanidloes 37-5. It was only the home side’s second try bonus of the season, however the rout may not have come as a surprise to Llanidloes who have now conceded a massive 63 tries in 10 games.
Second-row Colin Jones scored two tries and a try a each from Euros Thomas, Gethin Roberts and Owain Williams condemned Llanidloes to their fifth straight defeat.
