A WRU spokesman said:”We would like to join with The Scarlets management in thanking Stuart Gallacher and Gareth Davies for their service to the Region and Welsh rugby while wishing them both well for the future.
“We look forward to a dialogue with The Scarlets to discover more detail of their plans for the future in replacing the senior management roles represented by these departures.
“Stuart has been a powerful servant of Welsh rugby for a long time while Gareth Davies has played an important role during his time in Llanelli.
“These are challenging times and we all want The Scarlets to prosper as a powerful force in world rugby and to thrive in its historic role as a pathway to international honours for Wales.”
