In the second game of the double header, Neath will take on arch rivals Swansea (kick-off 5.20pm).

Llanelli, currently leading the race for the Principality Premiership title, but hotly pursued by Aberavon, expect a tough afternoon at the home of the Ospreys. Head of Rugby, Anthony Buchanan said: “There’s no doubt the semi-finals are a tough place to be. We realise that we have got to get things right on the day. Aberavon are like ourselves in that they are challenging at the top of the Premier Division. We will have to ensure we take our opportunities as they are a good side and we respect them a lot.

“We’ve played some good stuff for 60 minutes then tailed off for the final 20. We’ve been working hard and been at or near the top of the league since the end of September, so everything isn’t wrong – we must be doing something right.

“We’re coming to the business end of the season and there’s still a lot of rugby to be played and like Aberavon, we are contesting for honours on two counts.”
