Rees’ presence allowed the Welsh region to make it four wins in a row and extended their unbeaten record against Guinness Premiership sides to five matches this season.

Now he is aiming to make it four championship wins in a row for Wales over England in Twickenham’s centenary Test in the opening round of the 2010 RBS 6 Nations on Saturday. Having overcome a recent injury he is ready to form an all-Lions Test front row against England.
With props Gethin Jenkins and Adam Jones now fully restored to fitness after the injuries they suffered in the second Test defeat against the Springboks in Pretoria last summer it will be the first time the three have been reunited since tyhe series against the world champions.

Six penalties from the boot of outside half Rhys Priestland gave the Welsh region the victory that took them to the top of their Pool and one bonus point win away from reaching the semi-finals.

Even though former England wing Tom Varndell crossed for two tries, the home side were undone by Priestland’s deadly boot. The outside half kicked his side into a nine point lead before Wasps got on the scoreboard.

This latest victory for the Magners League side comes hot on the heels of their draw against Harlequins and bonus point win over Worcester in the Anglo-Welsh tournament. They also beat London Irish home and away in the Heineken Cup.
