The forward duo turned out against Exeter for the Blues last Saturday but will be keen to get Wanderers’ season up and running.

“There will be a little added spice to the fixture with a number of old Wanderers in the Bedwas squad,” said Wanderers coach Matthew Bolton.

“We were not able to compete financially for the services of senior players this summer but our young squad is maturing rapidly and we still firmly believe in this group of players,” he added.

The Wanderers keep the faith with the youngsters that pushed Aberavon for 40 minutes last weekend. The only change in the backs is the return of Lloyd Thomas at centre instead of Harry Trelawny.

Reuben Tucker and Dan Crimmins drop down to the bench and they are joined by Gareth Tedstone who has recovered from a neck injury.
