Weather hits Magners League

Round 10 of the Magners League has been hit hard by the artic weather conditions with a number of games cancelled or changes made to kick-off times.

Newport Gwent Dragons’ game away to Ulster at Ravenhill has been cancelled along with the Connacht v Aironi and Glasgow Warriors v Benetton Treviso fixtures.

Cardiff Blues are also scheduled to be in Ireland this weekend and their game against Magners League leaders Munster is still on but the kick-off time has been re-scheduled to 17:00 (from 19:30).

The Thomond Park clash has moved time to allow every possibility of the game going ahead. Gates will open at Thomond Park at 15.00

The Dragons were set to depart for Ulster today but after a pitch inspection at lunchtime the game has been called off.

The game will now be rescheduled Magners League and supporters holding tickets for the match are advised that they will be valid for the re-scheduled fixture

The Ospreys host Edinburgh on Saturday at the Liberty Stadium and the Scottish team has issued an advisory stating they are actively investigating all available travel options for their trip south.

Edinburgh airport is currently closed, leaving the club needing to seek alternative transportation. Further announcements will be made when available on this fixture.
